Enrico Targetti is an Italian-born CG Specialist and Cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA. Bridging the gap between traditional live-action filmmaking and advanced digital workflows, he possesses vast knowledge of CGI and CG animation. He leverages his deep expertise in real time rendering, cinematography, and modern DCC pipelines to deliver high-quality final pixels for award-nominated films and series.
Holding a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Milano and an MFA in Film & TV Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Enrico combines rigorous technical proficiency with a keen eye for visual storytelling. Early in his career, he co-founded a production company where he helmed the camera and lighting departments for dozens of live-action short films, music videos, and commercial spots. He later expanded his post-production expertise as a digital artist and colorist at Incendio, providing finishing and VFX for major brands and networks.
Most recently, Enrico served as a Cinematographer at Reel FX. There, he supervised the virtual camera and lighting departments from motion capture to final render, and helped establish a brand-new real-time pipeline through a close partnership with Epic Games. By developing custom shaders and blueprints, he successfully implemented stylized real-time rendering techniques to achieve cinematic final pixels in Unreal Engine.
His notable credits include serving as Cinematographer on the entirely Unreal-rendered Netflix animated series Super Giant Robot Brothers, and working as a Final Rendering Artist on The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. He has also acted as a lighting consultant for The Jim Henson Company and served as a VFX Supervisor and Colorist on acclaimed projects, including the Academy Award-nominated short Please Hold and the Golden Horse Award-nominated Al Niente.
A dedicated leader and innovator in virtual production, Enrico is an active member of the Visual Effects Society (VES) and formerly served on the Board of Managers for the Los Angeles section.
